Q. How do I get from the airport to my Disney Resort hotel?
A. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can use Disney’s Magical Express service to get between Orlando International Airport and their Disney Resort hotel. Disney’s Magical Express service is complimentary for Disney Resort hotel Guests and reservations are required to use this service.
Disney’s Magical Express service will no longer be offered starting with arrivals January 1, 2022. The service will continue to operate for new and existing reservations made at Disney Resort hotels for arrivals throughout 2021.
All arrivals after January 1, 2022 can use Mears Connect. There are two options when using Mears Connect: Standard and Premium. Standard is a shared service in larger vehicles (most likely buses) with monitored wait times. Premium is a direct service with a limited wait time.
The Standard service is $32 per adult and $27 per child for round trip. For one-way service, it is $16 per adult and $13.50 per child. The premium service is $200 for groups of one to four guests and increases by $55 for each additional guest for groups of 5 or more. So a family of 5 would pay $255 for the premium service while a family of 4 would pay $200.
Q. What is a quick-service restaurant?
A. A Walt Disney World quick-service restaurant offers great food and fast service. They are generally either cafeteria-style or counter-service venues. You order or take the food items that you want, pay for your food and sit down to enjoy your meal.
In addition to quick-service restaurants, Walt Disney World Resort features a diverse selection of casual dining and fine dining restaurants that offer sit-down meals with table service. Most casual dining and fine dining restaurants take reservations, but quick-service restaurants do not.
